HOUR BUILDING

Overview

Having a PPL license means you have experience as a private pilot. If you are planning to go for other trainings like Instrument Rating and CPL or just enjoy flying on your own, hour building is the great option for you.

Course description

Either you can continue to fly the same type which you have used during the PPL, or you can quickly learn another type from CAVOK fleet – a type difference course consists of 4 hours. During your hour building flights, you can fly around Hungary and some neighboring countries like Slovakia, and there is a chance to deepen your skills by visiting some other airfields in the region. Different packages are available, most of our students buy the full hour building package of 90 hours after the PPL which has enough flight hours to reach the 100 PIC criteria of the Commercial Pilot License – together with 10 hours PIC from Private Pilot training.

Gaining Pilot in Command hours are not just a requriement for the CPL course, but also the best part of your airline pilot training. During these flights you will learn how to execute long navigational flights, such as the 300 NM long flight which is the requirement for the CPL. You will also learn to take care of aircraft performance, overfly mountainous areas, plan flight route, point of no return and calculate the required fuel. Our highly experienced instructors can support you during these flights as safety pilot on board.

Hour building is available on all the non-complex single engine aircraft of CAVOK without or with flight instructor / safety pilot as well at an additional cost. Within one day, you can fly from 2-4 hours maximum.
